Course Description

This fun, fast-paced, multi-media workshop is filled with more than 50 “Third Wave CBT” tools and techniques that can be applied immediately in your practice to help in your treatment of Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and more.

Participants will learn how to systematically determine, using the trauma-informed version of the Trans-theoretical Model for Mindful-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy™ (M-CBT), the what’s, why’s, and most importantly, the how’s of your newly found therapeutics successes.

Given recent developments in evidence-based practice, this workshop explains, in-depth, how to articulate “trauma-informed” brain-based approaches to “Third-Wave CBT.”

Dr. Galen Cole recently served as President of the Georgia Association of Licensed Professional Counselors. In addition to his private practice, Galen also currently travels throughout the U.S. conducting intensive continuing education workshops on “Mindful–Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,” on behalf of PESI and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation.

Galen has published numerous books and scientific papers, and made presentations at conferences and training seminars across the world. Galen’s private practice consists largely of treating high conflict couples and adult Dr. Galen Cole clients referred with a history of trauma, mood problems and/or anxiety conditions.
